About Cynthia
Twelve years ago, I lived a quiet, idyllic life caring for my beautiful eighteen-month-old daughter. Then, peace gave way to chaos with the birth of my boy/girl twins. Hip-deep in diapers and baby food and living in a world of sleep deprivation, I kept my sanity by reading romance novels and dreaming of someday writing one. With the help of my local Romance Writers of America chapter, I was able to alter my lifes path, give up my dull life of accounting, and fulfill my dreams. Now I'm a multi-published, award-winning author who has published books with both Harlequin and Steeple Hill.
My Intrigue, SHIVER was a Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice nominee, and my Love Inspired novel PETERS RETURN won the Inspirational Reader's Choice Award.
Currently, I am working on my favorite type of romance -- Paranormal Romantic Suspense. I've just signed with Silhouette's new paranormal line - NOCTURNE and have a new story, RISING DARKNESS coming out in September. Besides writing over-the-edge suspense, I love to travel, crochet and explore historical villages where I live in North Carolina.
